Make use of Blogroll widget

When we started this blog we used a free theme available as all the bloggers do at first. After putting content we saw a widget with caption ” Blogroll “. We tried few things and without knowing the power of that we removed it from our theme. After that we posted a post of how to remove it for helping others. It is really a good widget to have in a blog site.

Effective usage of blogroll widget in your site can drive traffic to your site and increase your site ranking as well. Wondering how !!!

How should I save an image Jpeg or Gif or Png

While saving images there are two things to be considered. First One is Image quality and the second is Image size. If you are not worried about both then it wont be a problem in selecting an file type. All the 3 basic image types accepted in web are having their own advantages and disadvantages. In few cases there is no chance of skipping a particular file type like if an image is a animated one then its a must we should use Gif and if an image has gradient edges then its a must we should use PNG.
Things given below should be considered before saving images depending upon the usage whether to go with Jpeg or Gif or Png.

Decode footer.php in wordpress

Sometimes we might get frustrated when we are unable to customize few things in free themes used. The author of the theme might sometimes encode the code in any file. Mostly authors encode footer.php and when you try to edit Appearance > Editor > Footer.php you can see the encoded code which you wont be able to read. To make it readable you need to decode it. For decoding it click here and follow the instructions. Once done you will be able to see the actual code(Understandable code). Do the required changes in the code and copy paste the decoded code in your footer.php file.
